POF Wire

POF wire to be used with ELII filed terminable plugs and converters for home networking in existing and new residential and commercial buildings

1394b Media Converters

These converters are capable to convert and deliver data from a 1394b copper over Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) via the SMI or Optolock Port.

Optical Kit

This kit has all the components necessary to do an installation for home networking.

Plugless SMI SocketThese connectors are capable of being terminated directly to a Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) without the need of using a mating plug connector.

Ethernet Media Converters

These converters are capable of converting and delivering ethernet data from copper over Plastic Fiber Optical (POF).

POF for Avionics

Electronic Links is introducing a plastic optical cable specifically designed for avionic applications. This early product is available now and can be obtained from Electronic Links. The product is manufactured by Luceat in Brescia, Italy and Electronic Links is the distributor for North America and Asia.

SMI Sockets
Small Multimedia Interface (SMI) connectors that are used for low-cost high speed data transmission for applications such as home networking.
SMI Plug Cable Assemblies(Small Multimedia Interface) Plug cable assemblies used in consumer electronics, home networking, medical and industrial applications. Also available is a non flammable version used in avionic, marine and industrial for critical usage.
SMI Adapter

The adapter is intended to be used in communication links over plastic optical fiber (POF) for high-speed home, office, and industrial networks and other applications and makes it possible to connect more optical cable assemblies.

IDB 1394 Sockets

This connector in conjunction with a mating cable assembly can support a POF automotive topology. The data rate is 250 Mbps.

IDB 1394 Plug Cable Assemblies
These assemblies operate to a distance of 18 meters as identified by the TA documents 2001018 and 2004024. In conjunction with the PCB sockets, they can support a POF automotive integration.
Cable Assemblies
Commercial or custom cable assemblies built to your specifications.
ATA
ATA is used to connect internal storage devices such as hard disks, DVDs and CD-R/Ws to the motherboard in desktop and mobile PCs, servers and networked storage.
D-Subs
D-Sub connectors consist of two or more parallel rows of pins or sockets usually surrounded by a D-shaped metal shield that screens electromagnetic interference. The shape guarantees correct orientation.
DVI
Digital Visual Interface (DVI) technology was developed to enable applications to be run on high-resolution digital displays.
HDMI
High Definition Multimedia Interface connectors and cable assemblies provide a digital interface between consumer electronics equipment such as DVD players or set-top boxes and audio/video monitors such as digital TVs.
IDB 1394
Copper
Intelligent Data Bus / 1394 provides a CCP (Customer Convenience Port) that allows for the use of various auto components such as laptops, CD/DVD players, video displays, navigation systems to be used in your future automobile.
IEEE 1394
1394 is an inexpensive method of interconnecting a variety of personal computers and consumer electronics devices.
Networking
Fiber Optic cables provide high-speed data interconnections over long distances .
PCMCIA
PCMCIA (Personal Computer Memory Card International Association) memory or I/O devices connect not only a notebook or laptop computer, but are used in digital cameras, cable TV, set-top boxes, and automobiles.
USB
Universal Serial Bus (USB) port is used to connect up to 127 peripheral devices, including mice, modems, printers, and keyboards.
